In general when is the first sign that you need a new clutch? An answer I always got is when the rpm’s are high.

Anyways, I need help to trouble shoot my problem. I can not get into any gear when I put the clutch down all the way. Before this happen, I noticed that every time I get out of first gear I hear a “hisss” sound coming out from the bottom of my car. It sounded like the clutch is releasing pressure. This only happened when I release the clutch in first and reverse. Btw this is on my 89 integra.
Now I cant get even engage into a gear..

any one have this problem before or might know what is going on?
Thanks in advance

Calvin

You may want to try posting in the tech section.

Have you tried adjusting the cluch linkage (if it is even adjustable)?
