Well since the 03 Cobra is now with Ryan(03SVTPOWER) i've been itching to get another Stang but i don't know quite what to do.

I'm not much into road racing or autoX and i would like a very streetable car that could produce low 11 sec slips while staying on a conservative budget.

I'd love to be able to still keep the heating, A/C, and interior [Big Grin]

So let's hear what you guys have to say i'm open to all suggestions at this point [patriot]

A fox is always a good platform to start with. Maybe a cheap 95-98 Snake? How much you looking to spend?

Notchback with a 347 built the way you like, with all the goodies, then for giggles throw a little juice on there. 347 done up right should throw you well into the 11's then hook the jug up for,"just in case" power, and call it good! [patriot]

Or, get another terminator! lol

For what you want, I would say get a Terminator, but since you sold yours, I'm assuming you want to go another route.. A 347 would be nice.. but I'm not a big fan of Fox's.. I'd want it in a 94-95 coupe IMO.

Maybe an LS1?

Get a C5 coupe or a Z06. I'm keeping an eye out for a Z06 to maybe trade my SS for. There's a 422 c.i. 488 rwhp all motor z06 for sale with only 24k miles for 34 i think on the forums. That's 11s right there and add the jug and you're in the 10's.
Also not too long ago a Z-OH sold for 24.5K.

Sorry not much of a Bowtie guy but i got a buddy with an LS1 Camaro w/ Z06 Heads, Cam, Intake Exhaust, and 3.73's that i've been thinking of throwing a N20 kit on.

I'm not too into what those cars run but i'd imagine on a dry 125 shot it should go somewhere in the 11's right.

If it does and he gives me a deal i may head towards the "dark-side" for a while [Razz]

As long as it has a 12 bolt or a 9" it should be in the 11s (mid?) already. 125 shot should be high 10s-ish.

What kind of Conservative budget are we talking about here?

High 11's with full interior sounds like an H/I/C fox body with juice to me.

I would get a 67-68 Coupe and drop a EFI 347 in it. Never have to worry about smog. Maybe throw a 150shot on it too [Big Grin]

That sounds really tempting but i bet would be a bit more work than i prefer [Frown]

What do you guys think about this:
http://www.craigslist.org/sby/car/166095435.html

I know i read somewhere here recently about the car being bought just for the last big race.

I guess the car needed some work and the new owner got it up to par and now runs pretty strong.

Can anyone else shed some light on the car ie. previous owners.

I'm going to give the guy a call tonight i know he's friends with "racsirx" but the more info i have the better.

Could it be feasibly driven on the street and in light traffic.....i'm assuming so as i would prefer to stay away from a 100% track car.

Thanks for all the input [patriot]

how about a fox hatch with a SQ-trim keep ac power steering. bolt on converters pass smog run 11's all day long the way you drive it to the track. That would be your cheapest and best option.

I would definatly STAY away from the 347's There pistons are the weekest link, I can take som epics of the missing skirt for the clearecne, It leaves about 1/2 the oil ring exposed.go with a 331 or step up to a windsor roller block [worship]

Glad to hear you given back in Patrik [Big Grin] [patriot]

Yeah, I'm pretty sure u can get a nice lightened up notch with A/C into the low 11's pretty easily with a built 331" & sick ass H/C/I combo. A lot of natural 10 sec cars are out there nowadays, just go with a slightly milder streetable combo on it.
