Well had my first oral board today.... pretty nervous but I was well prepared even though they asked me questions I was not prepared for. They asked me like 15 questions, there usually like 6-10?? I looked at the paper that one of the guy's was writing on and he wrote a 92 on it so not too shabby for my first. So they made me wait outside and a few minutes later I had to drive the department and meet with the chief.... pretty laid back just asked a few general questions, passed that and talked to my background investigator. Kinda sucked, had to tell him all the idiotic mistakes I have made. Got to turn my phs, and other misc, papers within a week, trying to turn it back in tomarrow. So passed the first phase, well see how my background goes, I hope I pass, if not there are other departments. This was for Turlock P.D.
anyways thought I would rant a bit.... any suggestions? thanks

congrats...i have my oral board for SFPD on friday next week..i'm nervous as well. I might look into CHP as well...not sure yet.

Did you apply with Manteca? They have a couple of openings, at least that's what today's paper said.

I have been thinking about it... I was an explorer there for two years but I know alot of people here in manteca and it would feel awkward to pull over people I know all the time?

I have an application maybe I will turn one in?
