The adjustable parking brake cable I ordered (M-2810-A FMS) was supposed to arrive today.


Know what I got from UPS instead?

A manila envelope ripped open with nothing inside.


how big of a deal is it to stick something like that in a box when they are shipping it UPS ground anyways?

no, its ripped open in the middle, like it got stuck while on one of the conveyers or something, I dont think anyone stole it.

Dude that sucks, pakages go through alot of abuse when being shipped, i know, i used to work for fedex. Its a bitch trying to get it replaced by them, man i dont know how many pakages i broke when i was there from all the throwing and kicking

What a bunch of BS! I would call the vendor you ordered from and tell them to overnight one to you because they were too cheap to spend an extra dollar on the correct packaging. If they aren't cool tell them you are going on every site on the net and you are going to bash them like crazy. I hate crap like this!

sweet, now ups is coming to pick up the empty package, then after that, they start a claim, and after that claim is finished the company will ship me a new parking brake cable.

update:
UPS hasn't shown up to pick up the damaged envelope yet.

So I sent a nice email to the company I purchased the part from with reguards to making me wait for them to send me a new part.

I suppose I hit a nerve, as I was instructed to purchase my part elsewhere immediately and that when UPS finally finishes the claim they will refund my credit card




My advice is to avoid www.buyfordmotorsport.com

I bought my other cables, the M-2809-A parking brake cables from summit but I cant find the M-2810-A on their site anywhere

95GTace you need to fix your own problems with out blaming UPS for it. Call there customer service number with your problems maybe they can help you. UPS has been awarded the top package handeling company in the US many years in a row you won't find better good luck.
