Ive noticed theres a lot of football fans here so I figured I could get a answer here, or at least something. Ill be the first to admit.. Im not really a football fan so I have no idea.

I have a Jerry Rice poster, its a Nike poster thats been professionally framed in glass, some may have seen it. Its "Rice be nimble, Rice be quick..." then theres a picture of Jerry with a foot ball doing a Michael Jordan style jump, football in hand, and in the backround distance between his legs is Candlestick Park.

Its autographed by Jerry Rice with the following... "#80 San Francisco 49ers, Jerry Rice."

How much is something like this worth? Im contimplating selling it. Ebay or something.

BTW I got this as a present from my father when I was really young... he works for Coca Cola and Safeway had a "giveaway" with a bunch of these posters and he scored one of them from his work, and gave it to me. Its a legit autograph.

It's not worth much of anything unless it is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Upper Deck or another MAJOR group. Keep it.

I kinda figured that would be the case. Ill have to check the back of it.. I vaguely remember some sort of label on it. Maybe thats it?.?.?

Do you know of anyway to get things authenticated?

Thanks for the help.

unless you need the money for something, why would you sell it??

I dont really have a need/want to even hang it up. Ive always kept it in the closet.. and I figure with him retiring it might be a good time to sell it, or hang onto it until hes inducted into the hall of fame.

I figure a Football fan would appreciate it more then I am.

just keep it.
i met steve young about 11 years ago and had him sign an authentic nfl football. i know it's probably not worth much, but the fact that i actually met him while he filmed a commercial at my friends seafood market is good for memories.
it was back in the day when he had that groin injury.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

I have collected sports cards and memorabilia for several years now. If this is the poster I am thinking of it's not worth much. This is just a standered poster that was printed in mass quanity. Only plus is that it has been framed. If I had to put a value on it, depending on the frame. Frame=? Poster=$10

Welp.. Ill look at the back and if it has a CofA on it but still cant get at least a couple hundred for it then Ill keep it. I thought it would be worth around that.

Maybe Ill hang it in my office... along with all my other sports autographs. Unfortunately I dont have any CofAs for any of the autographs I have, yet I have a ton of em.
