my cobra used to be a daily driver and I liked it but when gas prices went up I bought a beater car and put higher gears on my cobra and now just running straight racing fuel.

I'm not supercharged, but a I have a lil 2.3L turbo...Buying 91.octane for a daily driver can sometimes "rain on my parade", but you gotta sacrifice somewhere I guess....

it's not too bad, but just like everyon says, the s-trim does get annoying after longer rides [burnout]

I have a supercharged SVT focus as a daily driver. I Love it/ 28 mpg and 260 hp- good combo

I DON't recomend driving a 4.6 supercharged car unless its from the factory. the 5.0's there fine. My 96 cobra started out just supercharged...........long story I blow it up. All modular motors will go if there blown and not built.

well Scott if you would quit letting other people hotrod your car you wouldn't have that problem of the busted engine [Razz]

I never get tired of hearing the s-trim whine [Big Grin] One way to drown it out is to get a louder exhaust or a louder stereo [Wink]

Whether it is a good daily driver depends on how the car is setup. If it is tuned properly and you don't go ape shit with the boost you should have no issues. Just make sure your motor, trans, and cooling system are in good shape before throwing the blower on.

91 octane does get expensive though.

already did a compression check which is great but going to do a bore scope and leak down just to make sure... btw im only going to run no more than 6lb's of boost and a tune of course.

Mine is as well but it does not really kick in unless i push it. Its a eaton so my gas is not too bad and my block is not stock
