probably belongs in tech section. wasnt sure what the hot pump setup is nowadays for road racing?
I seen maximum motorsports WAS offering a krc setup to work with 5 liter front engine accessories but no more until further notice.

KRC still offers some of their own kits for SBF motors, as do Total Control. KRC has terrible pics on their site so you would need to contact them directly. Driving an OG 5.0 with a silent KRC pump is quite an improvement over the whiney stock stuff.

As luck would have it a well placed call to Maximum motorsports led to them having a bracket still laying around to fit an older KRC aluminum pump, which I managed to pick up an aluminum pump for a hell of a deal recently.

I looked at KRC brackets but the problem I was having is that slot adjustment may not hold up under serpentine tension.

I had to drill and tap another hole in MM bracket in order to clock the pump where I want it. the fact the pump is mounted higher then other kits allow on the market with no adjustment allows me achieve great "belt wrap". with the KRC pump mounted on that bracket & use the speed doctor alt bracket with an adjustable heim joint i should be able to get great tension on the belt with no movement. everything has lined up with the stock serp pulley spacing hich makes pulley shopping really easy!

the bracket I got was from this kit:

they discontinued it after KRC pumps changed bolt pattern which is only the case with the aluminum pumps the cast Iron KRC pumps will fit the MM bracket by drilling and tapping one hole.

Since GM type II pumps have the same spacing as my KRC pumps the second best option was to get a 5.0 power steering bracket like this:

modifying it to accept this adapter plate part #920:

then have the bracket spacers machined to get it all to line up.

whats nice is a gm type II is cheap to get as well and the work great!
