Hello everyone!
First and foremost, big thank you to the admins for allowing us to advertise our sale here. Very few have been so kind.
I am a student at San Jose State University, involved with a team at school that competes in an international collegiate race series called Formula SAE. Every year we design, manufacture, and assemble a small autocross vehicle and race it against other schools. We are beginning our third consecutive year of competition and we are aiming to travel to Detroit this year as well as our usual competition in Fontana, CA. The Detroit competition is popular for German teams to debut their cars, which are usually very advanced so the competition will be fierce. I am enjoying it very much! Anyone who has ever been involved with this project is proud to tell you about it. It is such a cool experience.
Our school usually helps us cover registration fees, and we are on our own to fund the rest of the project. As an all-student team, our members are learning firsthand to coordinate all the details of managing a race team from start to finish. We are sponsored by forward-thinking supporters who invest in our program because of the way it produces well-rounded graduates, although most of our support is material or service based, so money is tight. We are having an online T shirt sale to kick start our year, and your support would make a big difference for us!
