I have a 1990 mustang that I have been building for years now n want to drift with it. Never done it n don't know how but want to learn. My stang is done up with maximum Motorsport rear pan hard bar, rear lower maximum Motorsport torque arm n springs, lowered in the rear 3/4 ", 3.90 gears n 31 splined moser axles,Svo aluminum cover, 13" rear rotors, full length sub frame connectors, torque boxes reinforced, a t56 6 speed magnum tranny n fidanza aluminum fly wheel,, front has maximum Motorsports tubular k member, tubular a-arms, coil overs lowered 1/2" n strange struts, agr polished quick steering rack, control arms moved 3/4" forward, steeda bump steer kit, steeda upper aluminum caster camber plates, 14" rotors n raush 4 piston calipers, rolling on deep dish 18" cobra r rims, motor is 331 stroker built by CHP. Aluminum edelbrock heads n performer intake, canton 7quart oil pan n scat crank, lower main girdle plate, full roller motor with e303 cam, blue printed n balanced, vortech supercharger pushing 10 psi, 70 mm throttle body n 73 mm mass air sensor, custom tailored chip, 24 pound injectors, full msd ignition, n way more than I can write n remember off my head. Is this the right direction for drifting? I'm wanting to learn. I'm a mechanic by trade n love to race but am ready to see n feel something new. Tell me what ya all think n I will post pics as soon as I can learn how to post them.

If you actually have all this stuff on your Mustang DO NOT fuck it up by drifting, it puts a lot of a beating to your suspension N drivetrain.

If you actually have all this and your a mechanic then you should know those 24lb injectors are a major holdback/weak point with that set up. A 331 stroker on 10psi....24lb injectors come on bro!!!

Take the torque arm off, you dont want traction in drifting. Get the stiffest c/o springs you can, get a full cage and stitch weld the unibody seams, improve the steering angle, and downgrade your gears and you should have a pretty solid setup. More important than anything is seat time. Get as much experience as possible
