I currently have 17x8 2001 GT stocks on my 92 LX hatchback and I'm contemplating installing a set of 18x9.5 Y2k R's that I took of my other car. What size tires should I run and what modifications do I need to make if any to avoid rubbing? (I already did the 5 lug coversion)

If it isn't the "PERFECT" offset they will NOT fit.

Tire size 275-35-18's will work. You will need to roll your fenders. If they are aftermarkets the off set may not be right.

Well, there's one way to find out for sure. I'll try to put them on and see if they work. Thank's for the input.

Yeah, my screen name matches my plate, but my Cobra is currently under construction and hasn't been out in the street in about 3 weeks, so it probably wasn't me unless it was a black Tahoe. It also has my screen name followed by a 3 on the plates, and I have been driving that around. (My 92 LX doesn't have personalized plates though.)

I put the wheels on, they look and fit nicely, but I do have a little bit of rubbing on the front drivers side. I'm running 265/35/18's up front.
