Yes, installed one in a 03 Cobra couple years ago, first slave lasted 6 months, second one 3 months then he went back to cable clutch....not sure if they improved it over last year or so but beware

Mine too. Lasted about 6 months before it lost pressure but was asking maybe I can fix it again or contact McLeod and ask em if they can send me a new slave cylinder because for 600 bucks that's a rip off

the one I installed on friends Cobra was slave/throwout bearing so trans had to be removed multiple times...if same setup on yours I would think of changing back or contact McCleod for an "updated" slave.

i have the same setup with the internal one. I will call them tomorrow to see whats up.

Modern Driveline has engineered a hydraulic kit that is far superior to anything I have seen for these cars. I am a long time customer of Bruce, and he showed me his kit in detail a couple months ago. I understand that you already have the McCleod kit, but if you are looking for a superior alternative, check out Modern Driveline.
