depends what your thermostat temp is, if you have a 180 thermostat, pretty good as it lets the engine get warmer than that before the fan comes on. If you have a 195* stock thermostat, pretty bad as the fan will basically always run at the low speed.


if you tried burping it, but it was still bubbling and letting air out when you stopped...you need to do it again.

Jack up the front of the car really high, open the crossover port plug, let it idle with the heater on inside the car. Let it toil and bubble and burp all the air out of the coolant before you cap it again.

Have you changed the cap on the Expansion tank? If you haven't Disconnect the little black hose from the radiator and blow into to it. If you are able to do so, then the cap is bad. H
You will be able to hear the air escaping from the expansion tank. A bad cap won't allow the thermostat to open up because it's releasing pressure and will cause it to over heat.
