I have an 04 gt I had an aftermarket fuel pump about a year ago I noticed that I spend more gas than before.

I was thinking of going back to an Oem fuel pump ..
Any advice..

Thanks..
The car is pretty much stock.

If your fuel pressure is the same then it would make sense that something else is going on. Have you put any performance
Parts on, gear change, tune, or might just need a tune up to restore your MPG.

unless you have leaky injectors that aren't sealing when not firing, the flow rate of the pump has nothing to do with mpg.

I would stay away from the stock fuel pump aka Ford. They tend to go bad sitting. The svt Focus pump is a good replacement, made by Walpro.
