so my 94 gt currently has richmond 3.73 gears, (bought the car like that)and i know for sure that the axles are stock, plus the reason why im upgrading them is because one of my axles is bent. only question i have is, what types of axles do i have to get? 28 or 31? does it matter? like isaid axles are stock thanks guys? any reccomendations on which axles ishould get?

If the axles currently are stock, they are 28 spline. If you were to upgrade to 31 spline you would also need to change the differential as well. 28 spline 94-98 axles will be direct replacements

Explorer diff are 31 spline

Just get some upgraded 28 spline axles unless you want to spend the money on the 31 spline posi unit as well.

+1 rolled splines are stronger than cut, explorer 31 spline carriers arent the same as mustangs
