will a 50 wet shot do anything to the engine or tranny? i have a auto. ive heard that it heats up the tranny.

it creates tremendous cylinder pressure and temperature increases, however, your typical V8 motor will handle bottle after bottle after bottle at the '150' level or even higher with little to no drawbacks if tuned right. Manufacturer jet charts tend to be conservative as well.

NX is pretty good too, although setup/tuned right it should not create anymore engine heat, especailly running a wet kit, although i could be wrong.

To be safe you should get an external tranny cooler anyways. Flex-a-lite makes a great one. You can get one from summitracing.com and it will come the next day. It will defnatley make your tranny last longer.

You don't NEED one but it won't hurt, it will only make your tranny last longer. Heat is the number one reason for automatic transmission failure.

[patriot] For sure. If you have an auto, you should have a cooler for it if you expect it to last.
