Planning on swapping headrest with a friend that has a 83 5.0 with the netted style head rest. How do you remove the headrest? Also will the 83's fit the 87-93 gt's? Thanks

Not sure about the 83 headrests but you just pull them out push the button in and pull.

i had an 85 gt with the halo headrests and they just needed a good tug to come out.

On my 87 i had to push a clip inside the chair to get the headrest out...
