I have a new tremec 3550 tranny. Do I use the normal ATF type F or does the tremec take something else?

The GM Syncro Mesh Fluid is a good recommendation, it is the best stuff.

thanks I'll try that. What about the Red Line heavy duty ATF fluid, will that work better?

I've used Redline on T5's & it does work great, but I always end up with leaks.

The Tremec that I've got doesn't leak a drop & shifts great....handles the 450hp better than my GF's T5 handles 300.
