Here's another vote for Apex. They did a great job welding Griggs SFC onto my Bullitt.

I don't recall the exact price, but ~$180 sounds right (EDIT: that's both purchase and install).

Have Fun,
Randy R...

How long and thick are these Griggs SFC's? How much was the actual part and labor seperate?Do they weigh less than the M/M lightweight full lengths?

The Griggs subframe connectors are four feet long and are made out of 1"x2" .120" wall tubing. They're very beefy but lightweight as well. We've found them to be the best of all worlds: long, lightweight, the most weldable area, and super strong.
They run $79.95 for the connectors, but labor varies depending on which year/model you have. ('96-'98 Cobras have tranny crossmember mounts that bolt to the subframe area, thereby requiring modification.)
If you have any more questions, just let me know!

It runs right around $199 installed with the connectors, tax, and labor. Convertibles run a bit more because we have to modify the bracing.
(Tax went up a quarter point starting 1/1. Blech!)
If you'd like to make an appointment, just shoot me an email (bill@apexmotorsports.com) or call me at (408) 562-1000.
