1996 laser red cobra vortech supercharged
built 500+ hp - $1 (hayward / castro valley)
1996 Laser Red cobra convertible, tan interior & tan top, custom
recaro reclinable seats covered to match intereior, s-281 wing,
saleen speedster tonneau cover, black 18x9 saleen wheels with
new hankook ventus Rs3 285/35/18 & 245/40/18 tires. Car has
just over 60k miles and it shows this car is beautiful for its age
has a few minor blemishes here and there but deffinatly one of
the cleanest 96 cobras you will find out there. A/C blows ice
cold, everything works. Car is currently registered and smogged.
Engine 4.6 teksid aluminum block, factory 8 bolt cobra crank,
dished forged pistons, tool steel wrist pins, H beam rods, all ARP
hardware, moroso oil pan, fully ported B heads, IMRC delete
plates, Custom blower cams, (not sure on specs), vortech t trim
15# boost, anderson motorsports power pipe, sct 90mm air
meter, vortech aftercooler, custom afco front mount heat
exchanger, battery relocated to trunk, accufab single blade
throttlebody, billet rails, complete custom fuel system (2)
external 255 pumps, -8 pickup, 100 micron AN filter, -6 lines,
aeromotive reg, 42# injectors, bassani mid length headers
bassani x pipe, bassani mufflers with turn downs, tremec tko 600
pro shifted by pro motion, pro motion girdle, fidanza aluminum
flywheel, spec stage 3 clutch, pro motion shifter, huge griffin
aluminum radiator, Koni yellow single adjustable struts/shocks
coil over all 4 corners, 375# front & 275# rear, Grigs extreme
duty torque arm, grigs panhard bar, Grigs lower control arms,
grigs bump steer kit, mike duff 4 point roll bar "welded in" &
removeable seat belt bar.
Car has new serp belt, all new idler pulleys, fresh redline oil
change, fresh redline MTL trans fluid, fresh differential service,
new spark plugs, upgraded grigs extreme duty torque arm, &
grigs lower control arms, new clutch cable, new tires. This car is
a monster and puts down some very impressive hp numbers.
Very reliable & streetable car. You couldn't even come close to
building this car for my asking price. Car has a few minor details
that need to be taken care of before re tune I will gladly go over
them with any seriously interested buyers. No test drives without
cash in hand or bank statement. I am not desperate to sell this
vehicle. No trades! Have extra parts that can be included into
sale price.
Car dynoed at 540 rwhp last time it was tuned. Can needs larger
injectors and to be re tuned this car will easily make 600+ with
more fuel.
