I've got a 50th Anniversary Mustang and was trying to find a group to cruise along with down to SoCal. I'm in Rocklin and trying to figure out the best cruise route, early wake up time doesn't bother me. Just excited about the show. Do I need to be a member of your group or have an SVT vehicle to tag along?? I would love to join you guys:) From the sounds of it your going to have quite the group. I might be able to add a few friends in as well.

So, I'm coordinating with some folks down south and they are wondering what cars and Coffee event we are going to. The one in Irvine or the Donut Derelicts. They would like to join up with us and welcome us:) Possibly even join in our cruise down the coast. Let me know if anyone knows yet:). Getting super excited about the cruise down there.

Ok, so here is the deal, the original Irvine Cars and Coffee has been cancelled sort of under similar terms as when it was held in Crystal Cove. However, the orginal founders of the event have moved it to the OC Events Center with 700 spots. They say these spots fill up before 7a. I have reached out and left a message with the organizers to let them know we are coming down there and if we could reserve some spots for about 100 cars. I'll keep you guys in the loop on what I hear. Other SoCal folks are wanting to join in our cruise and want to coordinate a meet up location either after this Cars and Coffee event or later in the day:)

Ok, void out my last post about the OC Events Center. I am in contact with Mustang folk that say the Cars and Coffee event in Aliso Vijeo!!! In talking with them they can add another 20-30 mustangs at a minimum. Below is a quoted post from our lastest conversation. I'll keep you in the loop......
"Looks like we need to round up everyone for the Cars & Coffee in Aliso Viejo for 4/16 the Saturday before Fabulous Fords to welcome our friends down from No Cal Do you want to take the lead and make a post in the social groups section? Maybe also a quick flyer?"

Ok, so the SoCal folks are being very gracious and helping with cruise routes. Ive included the correspondence below on cruises they have taken in the past. Let me know if any of these seem of interest to you:) The Dana Point route sounds good to me, but I'm up for anything. They will do the legwork to find parking once they know our head count.

In putting together the cruise route for after the Cars & Coffe we have several options. It would help if I knew where and at what time your group would like to end up at? Since your group will be doing the most driving want to make sure it fits more with your group. We can always cruise down to Dana Point along PCH for lunch at the Dana Point Harbor then everyone could cruise back up PCH through Newport Beach and Huntington Beach which is a nice drive. Or if you like more of a mountain type drive we could always cruise Hwy 74 to Lake Elsinore then down the 15 Fwy to Hwy 79 out to Borrego Springs. This trip is about 2 1/2 hours from Aliso Viejo? we have done both. We have done the coast cruise more and we start from Huntington beach and work our way south.
We should have anywhere from 20-50 with us for the cruise.
Some people like to party Friday and sat night, so that leads to some people waking up late lol

My Mcleod clutch master took a dump last week, sent it in and they are sending me a new one today or tomorrow. hopefully I can install it, bleed it and make sure everything is good or ill be renting a car to go to knotts.

Hey Everyone, I just saw the post about where to meet up for the C&C event on Saturday morning. The lot next door to the FFF lot has a Sears in it and is rather large. However, if Hokusay Inn works with everyone, ill be there. Let me know where everyone wants to meet up at and I'll be there:) Also, heard from the SoCal folks and they said we need to be to the C&C location before 6:30a to guarantee a spot.
On a separate note, has a final schedule been created for the cruise down south. Just wondering if I can catch up with the cruise before Kettlemen City. Not sure the route you all are taking out of San Jose, but if you could give some more details and time I could join in with you guys before Kettlemen.
Super excited to meet you all and see your cars;)

We go from sj to kettleman with no stop in between. So if your coming from sac there are folks coming from up there join there meet up Spot up north . Or You can pull off and wait on the side of the hwy at the 5 and 152 junction . People have hopped in from that point before .
As for c&c ya my group will be at the holiday inn and roll out from there
Being it's a week away I don't want to change anything else incase it's missed .

alright guys for cars and coffee we will meet up in the back of the hotel and we need to be on the road by 545 6 at the latest, since its an half hr drive and due to the fact we have to get there early to get spots.
