I just want to warn fellow Cafords members. If you haven't made adjustments to your 401k/Retirement investments, I would highly suggest you do so. I myself have been out of the Stock Market 100% for a while now. The writing was on the wall to those who have paid attention to the economy.
I am going to wait until after the first of the year before I even consider getting back in at all. Yes the Market is going to drop 500+ points tomorrow. It will probably settle after 2 weeks or so..... Wallstreet bankers/fund managers are not going to want the market to tank right before Christmas.( They need to rake their money off the top for Christmas) They will wait until Trump is in Office to pull the plug. Clinton and her very wealthy friends will tank the market and blame it on the Republicans. How they respond willbe interesting... Might be flashbacks of the early 80's economy.... That did pick up. But the markets have to correct themselves. Less government intervention the better.
GET READY TO POUNCE ON THE MARKET WHILE IT DROPS DOWN TO HISTORIC LOWS!!!!! I really think its going to drop down to 8,000-10,000 in the next year. Don't panic and pull your money while it's falling!!!! If you can't get out in time....RIDE IT OUT. " You can't get hurt on a roller coaster if you don't jump off " - Dave Ramsey

Pretty solid advise.
If I can add to this, anyone with a 401k shouldn't have one, period. Do you know one person who is rich who has, or had a 401k?
Look into all the hidden fees alone and do the math long term and risks involved in 401k's along with what is going to transpire with the market. Then you'll see what a 401k is all about. The fine print alone will make you go wtf?
Healthcare costs alone will wipe it out in retirement.
