Does anyone know a good mechanic who could come help get my mustang started? I've been dealing with this for a while and I finally narrowed the problem down to fuel delivery. I don't know why my 5 isnt staying on. It will start with starter spray then cuts off, im also getting little to no fuel pressure at the rail.. Might be easier for a pro to look at it. I'd appreciate the help, thanks

No fuel pressure at the rail, is your fuel pump coming on? Check the fuel pump relay to make sure it's energized, if so then you probly have a failed fuel pump. Good luck!

Probly should post this in the tech section.

its a relatively new fuel pump, and I am getting 12v at the connector.. The pump has little mileage on it, but it is about 6-7 years old.. Think I may just change it out. Might have old, dirty gas clogging it up

Just because the fuel pump is newer doesnt mean its not an issue. I had a fuel pump go bad on me 3 months after replacing it. It stumped me aswell since the fuel pump was brand new but i swapped it out and turns out it was the problem.
