Topic: CCW permit in Sacramento

What's up guys? Hey has anyone acquired their CCW here in Sacramento? I have my Sheriff interview next week for conceal carry but had a couple off the wall issues I may have had in my past. I had a DUI in Washington state back in 1998 that was dropped to a misdemeanor , and supposedly my ex wife living in Arizona had a restraining order put on me back in 2001 to keep me away from my child which is the reason she moved to Arizona. I was never served and as far as I know it's here say. I have never had any problems with the ex wife or with the police with her. Both of these things I described were done years ago when I was young and not living in California, not sure that matters. Should I even say anything about these two incidents?

If you want to have a chance of getting it you better inform the Sheriffs department of everything. Anything that is no disclosed will get you denied. Good Luck.

It is only a misdemeanor for carrying a loaded concealed weapon. It's less of a crime to simply carry than actually breaking a CCW rule with a CCW. (LE assume you know the rules if you have a library card)
