He had and still has daddy issues. His pops (Ali) wasnt there for him much growing up. Best athletes aren't always the best fathers.

How did he inspire you?
The Vietnam war was fake. America attacked Vietnam first, then lied to say Vietnam attacked first. We know this because the military's secret documents, The Pentagon Papers, proving this were leaked to journalists by the brave American hero Daniel Ellsberg.
Can you imagine living in a poor country and being attacked by a super power that lied to say you started it? Muhammad Ali saw this lie and refused to fight against and kill the innocent Vietnamese people. An act of courage and principle. Uncle Sam took his boxing license for this. A weak and immoral person would have gone and fought poor innocent people to keep his boxing license and make millions of dollars. For his brave act of courage and exhibition of moral conscience, Muhammad Ali is an inspiration to millions.
Those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
The same thing happened in Iraq. Those poor people didn't have any weapons of mass destruction, but got invaded by a super power. Leading up to the invasion, due to US sanctions placed on the poor citizens of Iraq, half a million children died. The Iraq war too was fake.
RIP Ali. A moral giant when it came to valuing human life.

Were you in alive durring the Veinam War? My Father in law was. He was a special forces medic. He went on many secret missions gathering intel.. He was later wounded during his efforts and is legally blind. He recieved a silver star for his actions that led up to his injury. He has been that way sense 1968. Never have I heard him second guess his involvement in the war. While YOU may not believe either war was justified. It's a slap in the face to the many men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our Nation. As far as Ali goes. Only he knows if he took up religion to avoid the war.
