i paid $180 for a set, spent $100 on alexs spring kit good for .600 lift, 3 angle valve job, seals, locks, retainers, decked, hot tanked. total cost was around 450-500 after all said and done. cant complain about the power either, shit kicks the rear end out in 3rd gear

I paid $400 w/1.7 rollers for the set i used on my son's car. I actually looked for quite a while before i found the low mile set i was looking for. I was only interested in a set sold by Ford Motorsports in the nineties. The catalog Gt40's had stock castings but included undercut stainless valves, moly retainers( no valve rotators),machined keepers, and excellent springs. They are a great head for a budget build 302.
