I was going to get a SUV but the simple fact is minivans can fit a lot more in them. I can get 8 people in there plus a couple strollers and luggage. With all seats up in an SUV, you're lucky to fit anything in the back and I need all three rows 90% of the time. Biggest drawback is you can't tow anything worthwhile.
I'd really recommend driving it around stock for a little while. The coil-overs are great if you want to adjust ride height, but the stock SE suspension is very very well engineered for what it is. I just swapped out the 19" wheels for something else and called it a day. If anyone comes out with a BBK, I may consider it. Otherwise, mine's staying stock other than interior multimedia and such.
If it could pull a car trailer, I would have bought it already!!!

That would be perfect if it was smaller, like the same size as Sienna so I can find a place to park it, I am in Las Vegas 8-10 times a year and it's hard to find a place to park, Pre-Obama my Audi was perfect, fit seven and even pulled a car trailer but I don't make Pre-Obama money so I can't afford something like that again.

Got my wife a Mazda5. Dropped it on some RX8 wheels. I personally dig the whole van/wagon movement.

Load two kids into a SUV in car seats in a parking lot parked between two cars, then find room in the back for groceries and strollers, god forbid you have to get another adult in the SUV with two or three car seats, whoever posted the saleen explorer just go look in the mirror and punch yourself, that would make more sense.

I'll never need a mini van because I don't plan on having more than 2 kids. No need to have 14 kids in this day and age.

My Toyota sequoia seats 8, and still has room for storage .I to agree a minivan is a minivan... Oh and I can also tow anything I want while having 8 passengers . Can a mini van do that? I think not. Just my .02.

Minivans are super handy when you got little ones, makes it easy for your lady to go from the front seats to the rear seats while your driving simple, try doing that shit in an SUV. You'd have to stop to change a diaper and the less time smelling shitty baby ass makes having a minivan way less nerdy than you think. [ 2014-01-03, 07:09 AM: Message edited by: 135.0 ]

Siennas can tow up to 3500 lbs, not too shabby, and the SE, XLE, and limited all come standard with engine oil cooler, heavy duty radiator and fan for towing. [ 2014-01-03, 09:41 AM: Message edited by: fredfifty ]

You just keep trying to convince yourself that owning a mini van is cool.
