very nice indeed! i wish i have a space in my garage like yours. i want to get another ride soon too. isn't the cbr 1000 a better bike than the r1? it's more expensive too.

^^^^ not sure but wouldnt doubt it i think pretty much any new bike is bad ass ive just always loved r1s i use to have an 01 r1 prob why. as for all the space thats with out my ladies tsx parked in their(damn tandom garage) o well gotta be thankfull i have a garage and its mine

Looking good! R1s the way to go!
Make sure to get the few basic mods:
Flush mount turn signals
Frame sliders
Tinted windscreen (or Puig double bubble)
CRG Levers or Pazzo
Exhaust system.
You should be good!
Oh and of course safety gear!

The CBR is a good bike but 2012 technology vs 2004 isnt even on the same level anymore.

91blackon black.... i was going to have to find a way to make it rich because i have a little comute 3 days a week and the cobra just wasnt cutting it. went to mint.com and saw that last month i spent 380 on gas plus it was all traffic. bumper to bumper in a cobra is just a waste. and arent you the guy with that cherry ass supercharged 5.0 haha always like seeing the updats man
as for compairing 04 to 12 this thing has a 7 setting traction control system 3 dif ecu modes and a slipper clutch

Nice Bike! I would have went with a BMW S1000RR though. For the same price as the R1 you picked up you could have got a low miles BMW and had all the real goodies!
