My original guess was 12.40 and I still think it could do it with a better 60

Took the car to the track last night and it did a new best......12.24 at 108 with a 1.81 60 ft.

non-roller 302 with trick flow heads, weiand x-cellerator intake, holley 750, 8psi of boost, t-5 tranny with 3:70's & 26" tall mickey thompson et.streets
all in my 68 mustang
best i can get is 12.6 @ 114 mph.. best 60ft was a 2.2
havent been able to take it out with the 3:70's and the 9" rear end. My old 8" i baby'ed so it wouldnt break.

Sweet combination! With a decent 60 foot you have some 11.8's in it.

Thats what my buddy has been saying also...it has been running around 90-91 mph in the 1/8th. I tried to post a pic of my slip but couldnt figure out how...had a 1.753 60ft [ November 16, 2012, 02:13 AM: Message edited by: 6D5 ]

Put a victor jr on that fucker and some 1.7s on the intake. Gonna gain 5mph if ur valve springs aren't junk or ur compression is in the toilet, which I doubt with a 3 1/4 stroke....

It has 1.7s already on the intake and exhaust. Brand new comp springs and everything. Motor was just built less than 1k mi on it.

What compression?
Ive got tons of customers close to 400lbs heavier weight with re ringed 5.0Ls and performer heads going 112mph plus......
Somethings up with that 331.
MPH too low.
What does is blow on compression tester at cranking?
