it's pritty hard to get big wheels and tires one these old skools wit stock suspension, I have sum 15 by 8.5's on mine and I hit with alot of weight in the car. You have to really upgrade suspension to be able to go any bigger than that, and it's expensive. That's why I havnt done suspension yet

LOL. No. A mini tub with a Martz Chassis 4 link.
The problem is that you run into the leaf spring. Some guys will relocate the leaf springs. You could also run a mild fender flare but I assume you're looking to keep the stock body lines. [ July 18, 2010, 02:11 AM: Message edited by: iceman302 ]

I had 275/40R17 M/T's tucking on my 65 coupe dropped leafs 2inches on some 17x8 Mach 1's.No rubbing just rolled the outer fenders.My bro also has them on his 67 on some TThrust II's he aslo is able to fit 26x9.50R15 and some P275/60R15 Et streets no problem not cut or anything or all stock .

I have 235/60r15 on the rear and 225/50r15 upfront. I'll get a little rub on the rear on the wheelwell lip if I have people back there and hit a good size bump. Other than that it's all good.

235/60/15 back and fronts are 205/60/15 i don't know how much bigger I can go on stock suspension (brand new) I wanted to go 255 in the back but didn't know if I was gonna hit my leaf springs.
