Anybody know what the numbers on a graphic qualizer mean [Confused] , Im trying to adjust my sound in my car stereo. Thanks [patriot]

the ones on the left are for the lows and as u go to the right it get to the highs.

The numbers from left to right... should be something like, but probably arent exact, this is an example:

50Hz - 120Hz - 500Hz - 1500Hz - 3.5k Hz - 5k Hz

Those are the frequencies... the lowest number being the BASS side of the frequencies. (50hz and 120Hz) The 500Hz range is mid-bass + midrange. The higher frequencies are your highs (tweets).

The numbers that most likely go up and down is the + or - decibles for that specific frequency. For instance.. the 50hz will probably have something like a -10 value thru 0 thru +10. If you slide, or turn the knob, to the -10 you will decrease that frequencies output by that much vs the other settings. Go +10 and itll increase that frequency. See what I mean? If you set the EQ to 0 all the way across its called "flat" and its as if you had no equalizer.

Kinda rough idea... and itll depend on your EQ. But thats basically how it works.

Right on bro, my stereo got so many different featurs to fine tune the audio, it doesnt even sound right so im tryin to fix it. Thanks for the help [patriot] .
