Just had my rearend done at apex motorsports, and let me tell ya, what a perfect job. i have no whine, no leaks or anything.
just remember about the proper gear break-in procedure, and you will be 100% happy..i am, and mine the IRS, so it's a lot harder to work on then the Liveaxle. highly recommended to you all to get your gears done at apex awsome work.

excellent service and work. if your doing highway with a 5.0L, i personally recommend 3.73 gears. that gear ratio is the optimum all around gear ratio. good for highways, perfect for autox and open track, and you will get a better ET at the 1320. 4.10s+ are recommend if your a drag car. but, if you do lots of hwy driving, get 3.73s. i hear a lot of foxbody friends of mine always bitching about going over 70mph on the why cause the RPMs are killing them....FYI

I would go with 3.73's for street use.. 4.10 is too much and you will hate them unless you are drap racing everywhere.
BTW, the gears are $450 installed.. not $500!

I think what he ment by $500, is ..
$450 for i373 and another $60 for 4.10's
How much more with a rebuilt kit, my rear is a bit loose and I have a slit clunk, was told I need to have it rebuilt when I change out gears.
