Thinking of getting a set for the track. Any info on setup, wear, likes, dislikes appreciated.

I have 2 245/45/17 NITTO 555R's with 60% tread left dismounted for $125, that would be a cheap way to see if you like the NITTO's without paying like $250 per tire.

Too narrow. I'm in a cobra running 275/40/17s. I'll burn those up. It wouldn't be a fair evaluation. Thanks anyway.

Get the new BFG Drag Radials, they are bad. Slick in the middle and tread on the sides, I can launce my car at 4000. I had the Nitto 555R's and the BFGs are so much better but I got the 315x35x18 so it was like $265/tire so you'd be lookin at about $200/tire.....Good Luck man, Hope I was helpful

Ok he is talking road racing guys. The 555rII. Its a road racing tire, not a drag tire. Kinda would make sence since it is the road racing section....
