So is anyone going up to the HPDE event and drifting comp. at sears point on sunday?

Jon - I'll be there as a passenger. My roll bar hasn't come in yet and NASA won't let me run my car without it. I haven't run Sears Point before but will for the first time in July. I thought doing some laps as a rider might help me get up to speed quicker.

I signed up with SpeedVentures for next Friday at Buttonwillow. There were only 30 cars signed up as of yesterday so I expect a lot of open track time.

Well that sucks about the roll bar rule. Yeah, a few of us are going to be there, so feel free to tag along if you want. Man, I would so love to go to buttonwillow again too. How much was speed ventures charging? I gotta watch the budget, becuase in two weeks, we go to the new Reno-Fernly raceway with NASA.

It looks like the yellow porsche may not make it to the event (the driver called in sick), but we still will have a red '84 911 car number 729 that we will be supporting. We usually setup near pre-grid, but since it's just an hpde, we may not end up there.

I'll call you when we are up at the track and let you know where we are.

Actually the drivers meeting got pushed forward since they are so booked. It's at 7:30am. Cars on track at 8am.
