i would get there pretty early, as in around 6 so you can be one of the 275 participants. make sure you bring a helmet, take all of the loose shit out of your car, make sure your battery is tied down, and you have gas

what do thier safety inspections inlclude?

the tech should not be that picky. as long as you dont have shit flying around in your interior, you have a decent helmet, you have all the required lug nuts (no centercaps!!!) and functioning seat belts you should be fine. oh yeah, battery must be held down tight, and your tires cant show cord.

I heard last year some peeps got there at 6 am and barely filled the last couple of spots. You might want to get there at 5 am.

So how did the event go? Anyone got links to pictures?

I went and it was pretty cool, first time autocrossing. I thought forsure I would atleast hit 1 cone but I didnt hit nothing. I ran the 2 timed laps in 76 seconds which I was suprised cause I beat a WRX's time by 1-2 seconds and did just as good as some other awd cars. There was a Skyline there and he beat my time by 2 seconds, really nice car.
I'll post a video once I find someone to host it.

I saw you out there, nice driving for being your first time out.
I spoke with the guy in the Skyline (Hubert), it's for sale - think it will be in my driveway in a few weeks. Interested to see how a right-hand driven car will be.
