It seems like they are off track and pushing it alot harder than past events. Is it because it is closer to the end of season or is the vid highlighting it more than others I have seen?

I think it's a little bit of both.

No, Rob did not do this one, the incar shots were collected from all of the drivers' own cameras, the exterior shots were done by the brother of the guy in the white and blue car doing his Bo Duke impression.

I assume you mean the black hatchback, the smoke screen was due to a power steering rack failure, he did go on to finish the race strong arming the wheel.
