Here's some from a car club I belong to
http://www.cfra.net:8080/results?series=qualifying
There's a R on race tires doing about 2:12. There's a couple of Griggs cars on street tires (at least I know one is) at around 2:20.
I don't have a lap timer but I think I'm mid-2:20s with Eibachs and adjustable dampners on a '97 Cobra.

I read a stock z06 was 2mins 8 secs, and a SS was 2 mins 16 seconds there.

I've run mid 2:20's with stock 99 Cobra suspension and Kumho V700's. Anyone running 2:15 or less(with Cyclone) on street tires is pretty fast. I've seen a Hennessy Viper run 1:50s.

Hey Brian, The next event that I am organizing is not until Oct 31st. I will post in a few weeks the basic details and how much it will cost. I have 6 events I am participating in between now and my event. One of them is running Thunderhill in the reverse direction, if I think it is cool, then I may set my event up that way.

Sounds good, keep us posted. Make sure you post it here and our show/event section. Are you going to the saleen show?

Not sure yet. Do they have a catagory for beat-up track cars?

Yes I'm going, I don't think they have a category for beat up race cars. I'm leaving on thursday afternoon. This will be my first time, I'm excited.
