When driving around and letting the rpms go down or while braking or reving, the motor cuts off. Then I would have to start up the motor again with no issues starting. Fuel primes up, so I’m thinking it could be the alternator going out or possibly ignition coil?
It’s a 04 Mustang GT automatic.
Thanks for your input.

Check the vehicle speed sensor, my friends 99 gt 5 speed would stall sometime coming to a stop sign or light. This could be related to your concern

My Mach 1 was doing that. Could not get it out of the driveway most days. It was a bad fuel pump. Check the fuel pressure.

Car is acting up again. I changed the idle air sensor earlier, worked out for a while but now it’s cutting off while breaking again, not every time but at random, and the electrical is still on.

spray brake clean on a lint free rag and open the throttle body and clean the carbon buildup out where the blade seats. carbon buildup will cause this problem. removing the throttle body and using a toothbrush is a good way to do it too.
