So after installing gt40 heads off 94/95 cobra and explore manifold the car feels like it's holding back in power timing is set at 12 I did notice the TFI module position is diff then my friends mustang that's timed the same at 12
idk if that matters
Car is a 1990 mustang 5 speed
Stock air box
Stock injectors
Stock headers

Parts list of the car
Gt40 heads(stock roller rockers)
E303(idk if it was degreed)
Explorer manifold
65mm throttle body
X pipe no cats
Double roller timing chain
New plugs
New wires

It feels really slow any info would be greatly appreciated

I have the same set up but I have a cold air and long tubes and mine doesn't feel slow maybe you need more air flow to help them

My last 93 with full exhaust and 355 gears pulled way harder then this one did maybe my stock gears are not helping either

I would check compression, makes sure the gaskets are ok

Maybe throw some more timing at it and see how it responds? (just watch for ANY detonation)

The 3.55's will help considerably. How's your exhaust system? Cats clogged? What kind of mufflers?
When I first bought mine all stock except glasspack mufflers, it was kind of a lazy dog! I changed out the glasspacks for flowmasters and it ran much better. Then adding on the 3.55's and it really woke up. Changing to 1-5/8" headers will help as well.

24lbs injectors , needs more fuel. While ur add it, do the headers.

What spark plugs are you running? Are they gapped to .52?

I'm running autolite coppers I don't remember the number but I asked for 94 cobra spark plugs at the auto part store I'll double check the gap on them

2.73/3.08 gears and e-cam is a great combo for a slug

Check the EEC for error codes?
