My buddies car, 2,500 miles. While driving normally after 10 minutes on the freeway he heard a noise coming from the engine bay, then lost acceleration. He pulled over popped the hood and turbo was glowing red. It will be towed back to the dealer on Monday, any Ford tech's out there seen this issue? He also mentioned that no check engine or warning lights came on.

Damn that sucks. When he finds out what went wrong let us know. I'm curious as to what the dealer says...

+1 that reminds me when my old fox used to have the same problem but the headers would glow bright red and cats were clogged up
