Car is 86 5.0 efi aero front end swapped car. Lots of unplugged wires couple gauges don't work and when I drive it wants to cut out. When I went to see it dude said if you kick the tank the pump will work if it doesn't prime in the first place. So I bought Rascirx whole pump and tank just to save on labor but now I cant get tank to "not" work. No worries on that. So I'm combing through wires and when I pull on the harness under neath the coil near the prop valve as well it dies immediately. I'm think poorly connected fusible link. What's your thoughts and tips?!? Thank you

Here's pics of what I found

2 green wires (not sure if they have a stripe) looks like it once had a metal end
 -

What appears to be the same wire cut in half (black with yellow stripe) when I connect both ends I don't hear a change while car is on or off
 -
Big mess that goes into the same whole the washer bottle is mounted
 -

And i don't know if the vid will work it may or may not but it shows exactly what happens and you may be able to hear the fuel pump stay on once motor dies

Do yourself a favor....RUN THE OTHER WAY!!
...unless you already bought it.

That engine bay is a mess, especially with the disconnected wires. Those are not fun to track down. The video worked and is pretty bizarre that when you move the wire, the car dies. I'll see if I can locate those on mine tonight. I'm working on it anyway so I'll look for them.

To make everything easier I'd just find all new harnesses, it'll save you a thousand headaches.

PM Tim(Musttanguy) I bought a new engine harness off him a while back, I'm sure he might have more or know where to get them. And for the rear bumper, good luck it took me like what damn near 2 years to get one.

I just looked on my 86 coupe, green w/yellow goes to the coil. If you do go mass air what do you want for the computer if it's a 5.0 5 spd.

Looks like you bought the primered one on craigslist with the aero nose and no headlights. I couldn't see the other wires since mine are wrapped but if you have questions on other wires let me know and I'll check mine.

Easiest way to convert to mass air is to buy the Ford Motorsport pigtail harness. Only bad thing is they're hard to find, I was lucky enough to come across two and no you can't buy one. Lol
