I have a 97 mustang .. so I had a friend come by and delete my check engine light due to the O2 sensor..once he finished I tried starting the car but I noticed the "Theft" light came on blinking fast.. I have no idea how the key Chip ended up getting dis programmed.. any one in San Jose area now how to fix or reprogram it

Cycle the key on and off quickly 10 times with out starting the car and then do the same thing after 1 minute or so...
