Sounds like you have a harness problem, 92s have two different harnesses, an early 92 and a late 92, the late 92 harness is the same as a 93

Is there any way to tell the difference between the harnesses ?

Something else is burning up your ECU . 1987 own harness, 1988 -89 own harness except for the mass air plug, could be rectangle or oval, 1990 own year harness, 1991 own year harness, 1992-93 own year harness. Make sure all plugs, grounds are correctly installed.

Most likely you are back feeding some circuits through the ECU. That will fry it immediately. So check the battery and ground punching's on the ECM and if memory serves me they are the same on both your doner car and your transplant. If i get my new management system i just dropped ALL DATA and my new system is not up yet i will post the prints. Hopefully my system will be up soon. Sorry.

Your starter solinoid hooked up currently? Does this only burn up the ECU when power is added at key or when battery is attached? After the tuck, did any wires crack in the harness someplace you can't see and are now arcing together?

as fair as i know its all hooked up right and i think so the car will run fine for about 5-8 starts and then the 9 or 10th time the fuel pump stays on and what ive read online and did my own testing have got a bad ecu and the only the pump would prime and shut off if the ecu has to see ground unless iam missing something
