The mass air flow plug is it oval or rectangle? Why did u fail? These engines and the way they were designed were pretty easy to understand the smog.

Why? My '86 obviously wasn't a mass air car but I converted it and smogged it and it passed. [Confused]

And '87 is SD.

yea this car was converted i checked no codes he said my cats where gutted and iam missing the smog pump and it has a b303 cam in it and it only has 2 cats so theres a list why it wont pass but he only did a pre visual he didnt type my vin just looked over the car i offered him $300 to pass it he said sorry no lol
