Some people are telling me to go with GT40 heads and others are saying aluminum. I have a typhoon intake with 75mm throttle body. Going to get an E or F cam. So was wondering what will go best?

trickflow 170 or afr 165. both are far better than gt40 heads. both are also smog legal. also benefit from removing weight off the front of the car.

Are they just better because of it being lighter or performance wise?

they flow much better than gt40 heads, even if you had the gt40s ported.

If you're going alphabet cams I personally prefer B cam, the E cam has low vacuum and I never seen a car with a F cam so I don't know how good those are. And I also like AFR over trickflow but they're both good set of heads, the amount of money it'll take to make the GT40's flow as good as untouched aluminum heads you'd be able to pay for the aluminum heads.

aluminum head hands down, not even a comparison to gt40's. ive always like trickflow myself, but cant go wrong with afr, probably wont notice a diff. ive run the f cam and had great results, but it seems people like the trickflow stage 1, if not custom grind cam

What do I do to prevent over heating. So the heads don't mess up that was the only thing I was worried about with aluminum heads

And why are you going 75 mm tb? I see this a lot on people's cars on motors that are mild hci set ups, when there are no need for this big of a tb . So You have no need for this big of a tb,this could slow you down unless your slapping a power added .fyi gt40 heAds suck IMHO don't believe the street swanger hype who think these heads are worth your time and money, just pony up and buy some real heads.. PS cast iron heads can be good to like roush 200 or Windsor heads but stay away from garbage gt40 heads even ported ones

You will be fine with a 75mm. This is not a carb setup and to big will not be an issue. 75mm is just shy of 3 inches, most cold air setups are 3 or bigger. Try to get a Mass air that will not bottle neck down your cold air as well.

Picture the top part of a 2 liter soda how it goes from being big to the small cap, that's his reference, nothing special. [patriot]
