is there a way I can reset this light? or do I have to go to a shop and get it fixed? any suggestions?

You can erase it with a scan tool but if there is a fault in the system it will come back after a few miles. My suggestion would be to fix it.

What year is your car? My 97 Cobra ABS light comes on when I run slicks on the back (28" tall tire). If your rear tires are taller it throws the code.
