my saleen has been off the battery in the garage for about a month. I reconnect the battery start the car backed it out and let it run for about 10 minutes, then I noticed the idle drop for a second like it was about to die than picked itself back up idling fine than did the same thing once more... so I got in the car tap the gas and the motor died. I tried to start it back up and it will crank over but not fire. I took the key all the way out put it back in turn it and I notice that the fuel pump isn't priming?
I don't hear the fuel pump at all.

could the fuel pump have really gone out like this? or could it be related to being off a battery for a month+ ?

the car has 43k miles bone stock.
