Very simple because it does not have one!!! It has a VSS that controls the speedo. NO CABLE!!

Im pretty sure that its a cable that runs from behind the dash threw the firewall and down to the speedo gear on the tail shaft housing am i wrong .i guess i should have said what tranny im runnin its the t5. please correct me if im wrong about the cable

All fox bodies have a speedometer cable
Remove cluster, disconnect cable on transmission side, feed cable through firewall.
Pretty simple and straight forward

FALSE info man.... It does it comes from the dash to the trans also it's a gear driven sensor that calculates the MPH

Ok i forgot that car has the VSS in the dash and a cable I stand corrected!!! I totally apologize for that incorrect information. I have a 1988 drop top and should have known better. Getting old!! Thank you for correcting me totally embarrassed.
