Will a stock 87-93 seat bracket fit on an aftermarket seat? I don't like the bracket it has now and want to change it and like how the stock one is.
Thanks

likely you'll have to modify it.

I have these with Corbeau LG1's

What seat?

I actually wanted to change the whole bracket that bolts up to the seat itself. I can't remember off the top of my head.
I don't think this would solve the problem I have

I have some aftermarket seats waiting to be put into my 91. the problem i have is that the bolt pattern for the new seat is wider than the o.e. seat rails. i have some flat plate metal that i have holes drilled out to match the pattern of both the seat and the o.e. rails. The issue I have is that they raise the seat up by about 2 inches, which makes my head touch the headliner.

I can weld or cut or drill holes out here at work..mines too, the seat does goes up closer to the headliner. Hope you figure it out

here's what I would up doing...

I didn't like the corbeau seat rails. I could not get them to sit correctly and I was sky high in the car. Same with the ford rails and seat adapters.

It wasn't as high but I still wanted more leg room getting out of the car, so I added the other adapters I mentioned earlier and got a happy medium with the added plus of legroom.

Those are pretty much what I came up with.
