hey everyone so on my hatch (stock) i have dual electric fans hooked up to a toggle switch. previous owner had it hooked up with a relay box and a thermostat (little box mounted on the firewall with wiring) but i guess the little box went out and now they re direct. so now every time i turn on the toggle switch i can feel the wires from the switch to from there they were first connected heat up and kinda melt. is there anyone on here who can hook these fans up correctly for me? i tried asking a lot of people i know but they always come up lil mickey mouse alternatives. car doesn't over heat but even with the fans on it starts too but on the freeway it stays cool and doesn't over heat at all. the way i want these set up is to where the fans turn on automatically without a toggle switch. anyone??…...

i can.u will need another box, the brand i like are about around 30 bucks. if u have the contour fans and there complete with harness, they are already wired for dual speed. so buy another 30 dollar therm box an i can wire them in for dual speed like the dope stuff. i highly recommend a 3g alternator for any ele fan upgrade especially the dual fan set ups, your junk yard is littered with them i bet. 100 in labor for me to wire up each box. dual speed fans is two hundred in labor.
