On my way to work was driving @ about 5mph and all of the sudden transmission just locks up and won't move foward or back and leaves me stranded in the middle of the road sound likesomething broken inside the tranny tried pushing on nuetral but still not able to move it foward or back it will go into gear but just won't move not sure what it might be at this moment hope its the clutch and not tranny . Need help ASAP

what happens when you put it into gear and start releasing the clutch?? it just revs up but doesnt move, or what??

Is it possible that the gears in your 8.8 locked up? Are you sure it's your transmission?

So I jacked up the car and opened the rear end and sure enough rear end was all chewed up gears were all broken.. ended up getting one from foxbody and put it on and runs likes a champ now
